San Francisco is shocked when the body of Dominic Como, a member of a half-dozen boards of directors for non-profit and charitable organizations, is found half-submerged in a lagoon and his young business associate Alicia Thrope is considered to be a person of interest in his murder. Private investigator Wyatt Hunt and his young protИgИ Mickey Dade start poking around the case, partly to appease Mickey`s crush on Alicia and partly to keep Wyatt`s business, The Hunt Club, among the elite of San Francisco `s high-end P.I. shops. What they find is anything but expected as San Francisco `s golden fundraiser turns out to have been drawing enormous salaries from each of the charities he worked for, and young Alicia seems to know more about where he got his money than she is letting on. Treasure Hunt unfolds against a backdrop of murky city politics and shady groups masquerading as charities.
